Living Canvas Tattoos, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Mark Walters. LCT is the only tattoo shop in America awarded a declaration by the mayor of Tempe making September 27 a National Living Canvas Tattoos Day, annually. Even after all these years you still find Mark tattooing at the shop daily alongside his artists. Living Canvas has the honor of being the 1st studio to be opened in downtown Tempe, across from ASU. We are pleased to have the success with working with the City of Tempe and State of Arizona to pass regulations for tattooing safety. We have the unique advantage of a very diverse clientele. We are an award winning studio and specialize in every aspect of custom tattooing. The quality of our work has been noted in articles written about our shop, and honored with various awards given to us since our opening in 1993.
